Full website coming soon

Nick Slim is a multidisciplinary artist, working across painting, photography and digital media. Creating layers of imagery and using his photography, on the canvas or digitally, he produces complex artworks that depict or comment on contemporary culture.
Inspired by the rave and pop cultures of the 90s and 00s, as well as urban cityscapes, his art invites the viewer to see through the layers and reveal their hidden message, while his attention to detail highlights the finesse of his methods and techniques.
Nick Slim studied Fine Art at the Camberwell College of Arts and Sheffield Hallam University. While studying in Sheffield, he played a major role in the documentation of the city's rave culture. Throughout his career, he worked with advertising agencies, publications and music labels. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and night clubs in London, especially in the city's East End at a time where art was influential to the area's urban regeneration. He has been awarded the Reece Martin Prize for painting.
